Environmental Leader

UMB Bank Colorado, a chartered bank of UMB Financial Corporation, has incorporated a grass roof into the structural design of its new location in Denver.

The roof is covered with drought-resistant plants that are native to Colorado and is designed to reduce urban heat effect from reflection and decrease the amount of rainwater runoff which can pick up the dirt, oil and chemicals that lead to water pollution.
