Logicalis has joined the Green Grid, a consortium of companies working to advance energy efficiency in data centers and computing ecosystems.

“We look forward to joining our partners -? IBM, Cisco, Microsoft, HP and BT – and other technical experts globally, in helping to create a clear roadmap for data centre efficiency and improved environmental practise,” said Tom Kelly, Managing Director, Logicalis UK.

The Green Grid recnetly outlined its 2007 deliverables and technology roadmap.

Gartner recently criticized the consortium, saying it misses a greater opportunity to influence legislation and behavior for broader green issues.
