You can pass this along or simply try it yourself...take one handle of the bag and twist it three or four times to make a loop, this way it will stay on the turnstile while the bag is expanded. It takes some prep time in the beginning of the purchase, but I guarantee it is a smoother process than fumbling with a cumbersome task.
