All the re-usable shopping bags I have seen are Made in China! You think stores could at lease offer some items actually made in the USA. Any way I ordered 100 beutiful recycled cotton shopping bags for all my family and friends at a great price from enviro-tote.com the are 100% made in the USA. You have to look but you can find things still made in the USA. Please pay attention start today!

I am a Wal-Mart employee and have recently discovered what I believe to be the easiest way to pack the reusable bags. You can pass this along or simply try it yourself...take one handle of the bag and twist it three or four times to make a loop, this way it will stay on the turnstile while the bag is expanded. It takes some prep time in the beginning of the purchase, but I guarantee it is a smoother process than fumbling with a cumbersome task.

I get the whole environmentally friendly thing and I'm glad Wal Mart is stepping up. Did anyone else notice that these things are made in China? They're probably made by sweat shop kids. And the $1 per bag surely can't be paying these people what they deserve.

I was very pleased to find the reusable bags at Walmart. It would be helpful if the cashiers were instructed on how to use them. For the last 3 weeks I have gotten cashiers who look totally perplexed as to how they should load these bags. Karen 11/19/07

Walmart, Walmart. Always the follower. Yet they will come out with some newswire nonsense suggesting that they are leading the way.
We are not fooled.
