PepsiCo Releases CSR Report
PepsiCo has released its Performance with Purpose Corporate Sustainability Report for 2006-2007.
Here are some of the numbers:
Frito-Lay North America (FLNA) reduced its fuel, electricity and water consumption by 4%, 1.6% and 6% respectively compared to 2005. When compared to the baseline year of 1999, FLNA manufacturing has reduced fuel use by 24%, electric use by 19% and water use by 35% per unit of product made.
QTG’s (Quaker/Tropicana/Gatorade) performance in 2006 resulted in reductions compared to the prior year of 7% in fuels, 11% in electricity and 5% in water per unit of product produced…..
