New York’s Strand bookstore has teamed up with Eco-Libris allowing customers to pay to plant a tree to “balance out” books they purchased in the store. The purchase is made at checkout. Customers receive an Eco-Libris sticker at POS that reads, “One tree planted for this book.”

See a list of participating bookstores here.

I would like to donate to this movement on any Green Printing that comes from Eco-Libris. I write a weekly Green tip for their blog. I am impressed with Raz.
