Carbon Capture Storage could be the silver bullet EU member states need to substantially cut down on CO2 emissions while maintaining their existing and polluting industries, Reuters reports. But environmentalists say this will simply be a disincentive for heavy industry to switch to clean technology and it will create the new problem of storing of a new, dangerous compound.
