Is the Japanese Iron & Steel Federation (& 6 other steel makers) really serious? They talk about technology for reducing 30% of GHG's emitted by the steel industry. Then say that the new technologies are expected to be operational by 2050. By then the technolgy will no longer be new and the planet will be gasping for breath. Why put up a headline without telling the real truth?
