This tax doesn't make sense. No matter how much you tax each cow, they are still going to poop. This sounds like the wheels have been set in motion for big business to take over the cattle industry. We will no longer to be able to hold onto our small family farms that have been passed down for generations. How very sad for tax paying, loyal, salt-of-the-Earth American citizens to be treated so heartlessly by those we have chosen to represent us.

While I'm all for doing what we can to ensure our environment is safe, I'm not convinced that blaming global warming entirely on mankind is sound science. One of my biggest fears is that unfettered regulation will simply have a devastating effect on our economies and our way of life. The idea of burdening farmers with nonsensical regulation is ludicrous. One size regulation does not fit all. While some things may be done with so-called factory farms, run by deep pocket conglomerates, the family farm will not only suffer but die out altogether. We need to get a grip on the global warming hysteria before it's too late.
