Ontario Green Energy Act Update

Ontario`s new Green Energy Act is set to generate up to 50,000 jobs and help communities in northern Ontario generate some of their own power.

I don’t see any incentives for new homes. Are there any rebates for the new home builder?

The Green Energy Act should be a big boost for rooftop solar panels, as explained in the website http://wecanadians.com.

It seems the utility will pay about 80 cents/KWH for energy generated by rooftop solar panels -i.e several times more than the rate of electricity supply. This is a huge incentive and should kick-start a solar revolution.
Way to go, Ontario!
