This post is a little sloppy in its boosterism of BP, who, last time anyone checked, still derived 99% of its profits from petroleum despite its award-winning PR campaign. The story is about oil company transparency in carbon emissions disclosures. There are lots of questions about criteria and process that, if followed, revealed the systemic impacts of our addiction to fossil fuel and the relentless posturing by dirty energy. A little more dig and a little less glib would be appreciated.
