While its easy to criticize big companies like mcdonalds we have to realize the size of the gain for each and every measure they take towards being more socially and environmentally responsible. As largest buyer of pork or any other commodity, seaking and rewarding sustainable practises in their procurement and supply chain, changing practises makes a significant contribution to change globally. i foresee a future where mcdonalds could be a purveyer of sustainably produced, nutritionally improved, less caloric, reasonably priced food. people just have to apply pressure. they have been able to reinvent themselves and steal market share from any new products that have come along from personal pizzas, salads, breakfast items, coffee drinks, smoothies and more....
