How much carbon is emitted by 35 ewes, 1 ram and their offspring? Ten sheep = one cow regarding the amount of grass consumed. Would corn/soy/grain fed sheep emit more carbon than grass-fed sheep? We believe the grass pastures sequester the carbon. The birds, worms, bacteria and insects living in the pasture consume the sheep droppings.
