When it comes to their top concerns, consumers put the environment behind the economy, health care and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, according to new research from the Shelton Group.

The research, GreenLivingPulse 2009, took into account 1,007 consumers who at least occasionally buy green products, according to a press release.

Consumers haven’t figured out yet that the scale of disaster of climate change far exceeds the other concerns. A worldwide ecological disaster with billions of people starving and dying with no water will simply destroy the economy, health care, and create widespread wars over survival.

The Green Collar Economy addresses the Economy better than any suggestion by either sides of the aisle or any public forum. Nothing will clean the air, land, water and will address health care and the economy better than implementing the Green Collar Economy.

Solve the environmental problems and the others will evaporate.
