Thank you for this well thougth out approach. Our Company GreenSmart has been on exactly this path for some time now. Just on Friday I wrote the first of a series of blogs I am writing on Be Green, Buy Green, which will specifically discuss how our Company accomplishes the above tasks.
Consumers and consumerism has never felt the need to address the issues of eco or social responsibility. Those times are changing. It will take considerable, ongoing education to bring consumers and retail buyers along on what the meanings and repercussions of even the smallest of consumer decisions from all that is possible for them to consider. There is no need for the concept of "thoughtless" consumerism to continue. Articles like this and the hundreds and thousands of others like it necessary over the next 25 years will move the process. Thank you.
