So efficiency differences are accounted for. As for the landfill thing, don't know. Maybe they will need special recycling processes (take back or something). Not exactly an impossible hurdle. Hum, wonder why its cheap. Also, why isn't it isn't noted that thin film is made with CaTl which in a land fill is extremely hard on the environment? Somehow these facts just seem to get in the way of the story of thin film.
