The reason I am finding this so interesting is I believe it could be adapted to small, rural area usage. I live in a town where the city light and power is the ONLY real means of income and is feeling heat to sell out to a coop. who would employ monopolizing tactics. This would be environmentally sound, take care of our waste, and save the income the power and light brings. Also, if the city would coodinate with other small counties and rural communities, at a cost they could make money by getting rid others' waste as well, and possibly sell their electricity county wide, if not even further than that. I would like to know how to get more involved in this, and even to set up a feasibility study to go this sort of thing in a small town like mine in Missouri (where jobs are scarce and money is tight).
