Ecodesk uses a similar ranking system and metrics as P&G which I think is pretty much the global standard. the big missing link in my view is COMMUNICATION benchmarking, comparative data, ranking and transparency - as you say Michael

A colleague and I were part of P&G's collaborative effort that developed the supplier scorecard. Transparency is important and the supply chain effort goes even further -- to encourage innovation that will benefit consumers. It's a great end-to-end approach.

Do you have a link to the supplier scorecard? All I found was Pepsico's reporting of their own metrics.

PepsiCo has a supplier scorecard (on-line) with the same metrics that's been in place and utilized for 2 years. However, suppliers report quaterly versus annually. PepsiCo's supply chain outreach program also includes training, tools and subject matter expert to support successful performance.
