TIAA-CREF manages one of the nation’s largest real estate portfolios. CEO Roger Ferguson discusses energy efficiency measures from buildings as a “win-win” strategy that can reduce carbon emissions and energy use at a net cost-savings.

This could be a spearhead campaign to help commercial industries that have high energy consumption buildings which takes up 40% of national power usage from fossil fuels. All energy efficiency and solution companies need to combine efforts to help with corporations to reduce our dependency of fossil fuels and carbon emissions.
