The key is focusing on the ‘disposable process’, or perhaps we should call it the ‘reuse process’. Certainly not on energy efficiency. IT can play a bigger role focusing on things that have a bigger impact: ewaste, and helping to manage the energy efficiency in non-IT departments and industries.
