Environmental & Energy Executive Moves: TD Bank, Dupont, Siemens

United Water: Lisette Provencher (left) has been named senior vice president, operations support for the company and its parent, Suez Environment North America. She joined Suez in 1986.

TD Bank Group: Brad Peirce has been named vice president at TD Environment. He had been vice president for TD Wealth.

Scientific Certification Systems: The third-party verifier of environmental and sustainability claims has appointed Shayna Prunier and Nick Kordesch as marketing and communications specialists. She was most recently a partner with the environmental/LEED consulting firm EcoConsultingUS. Kordesch is the co-author of The Truth About Green Business, with Gil Friend and Benjamin Privitt.

DuPont: The chemicals and materials giant has appointed Douglas Pereira as marketing manager for photovoltaic solutions. Pereira recently completed an MBA at the Yale School of Management.

Siemens: The company, which recently separated its solar and wind power businesses, has appointed Felix Ferlemann as CEO for the wind division. Ferlemann is head of the chassis systems division at Benteler Automotive.

Cisco: Ed Richards, the former director of worldwide business development at Cisco, has left the company, Green Tech Media reports. Richards was also a founder of Richards-Zeta Building Intelligence, which Cisco bought in 2009, and on which Cisco based its Mediator building management software.

eIQ Energy: Jerry Cutini is taking over as CEO at the solar technology developer, from Oliver Janssen, who stays on the board as chief business development officer. Cutini was formerly chairman, CEO and president of Aviza Tehcnology.

FIRA: The furniture industry research body has welcomed Asli Tamer Vestlund as deputy technical manager, with responsibilities including project management of an industry carbon footprint benchmarking project. Vestlund finished a PhD at Cranfield University in 2010.

Rentech: The biomass and nitrogen fertilizer company has appointed Jeffrey R. Spain as senior vice president, finance and accounting. His past employers include Credit Suisse First Boston and Kimberly-Clark. Rentech has also appointed Eric Darmstaedter as vice president of business development . He continues to serve as President of ClearFuels Technology Inc. following Rentech’s majority acquisition of the company in May 2011.

Clean Urban Energy: The energy storage and smart grid technology company has appointed Phil Bomrad as president and COO. Prior to joining CUE, Bomrad led Siemens Industry’s Energy Services group, building a business that included energy monitoring, building commissioning, demand response, procurement consulting, and energy efficiency projects.

Appliance Recycling Centers of America: The company, one of the nation’s biggest recyclers of major household appliances, has appointed Stanley Goldberg and Steven Lowenthal to newly created positions on ARCA’s board of directors. Goldberg currently serves as CEO of Vanguard Graphics International while Lowenthal is Co-CEO and shareholder of SPECTRUM Commercial Services Company.

AECOM: The engineering and consulting company appointed Marshall Davert as executive vice president responsible for the water business line in the Americas. Davert was most recently at water consulting and construction services firm MWH.

WateReuse Research Foundation: The organization, which conducts and promotes applied research on water reuse and desalination, has promoted Julie Minton from project manager to director of research programs, Water and Wastes Digest reports. She replaces Joshua Dickinson, who has been promoted to deputy executive director.

EOS Climate: The company, which collects and destroys ozone depleting substances, named Matt Jones as CEO. He most recently served as president and CEO of CloudShield Technologies, a wholly owned subsidiary of SAIC.

Energy Recovery Inc.: The company, which designs and develops energy recovery devices for desalination and other industrial processes, appointed Baji Gobburi as its director of water product development. Gobburi held a variety of water management positions at GE.

Canadian Solar: The solar panel and component maker has appointed one of its independent directors, Michael G. Potter, as senior vice president and chief financial officer. Mr. Potter will continue as a director of the company.  Current CFO Andrew Chen is leaving the company.

IHS: The analysis and software company announced that executive vice president and chief financial officer Michael Sullivan is leaving in November for personal reasons. He will be replaced by senior vice president and chief strategy officer Richard Walker.

Pall Corporation: The fluid filtration, separation and purification company has elected Larry Kingsley as president and chief executive officer. He is currently chairman of the board, president and chief executive officer of IDEX Corporation.

Viridian Energy: The green energy provider has appointed Jan L. Fox as general counsel. Most recently she was president of JLF Energy Consulting.
