Food products classified as organic in the European Union or the United States can be sold as such in either region. The agreement, which seeks to boost trade in the organic food industry, valued at more than $50 billion, will come into effect in June 2012, AFP reports.
The Energy Department announced new voluntary energy-saving specifications for lighting troffers as well as parking lot and parking structure lighting. The new spec provides minimum performance levels for LED and fluorescent troffers and delivers energy savings of between 15 percent and 45….
