Environmental Executive Moves: Ecotech Institute, Delos, ENPAR Technologies
Ecotech Institute: The sustainability-focused school has named David Needham as its new president. Needham (pictured) joins Ecotech Institute from Somersetstreet, a company he founded in 2008.
Delos: The real estate developer has appointed environmental sustainability expert Michelle Moore as a strategic advisor. Most recently, Moore served in the Obama administration’s White House for four years, where she was a senior advisor to the director at the Office of Management and Budget and held the position of federal environmental executive on the Council for Environmental Quality.
ENPAR Technologies: The wastewater treatment technology company has named Dr. Richard Woodling as director. Woodling joins the company from CLSA Capital Partners’ Clean Resources Asia Growth Fund.
Aqua-Pure Ventures: The wastewater recycler has promoted Richard Broderick, a 30 year veteran of the oil and gas exploration industry, to the position of president of its wholly owned subsidiary, Fountain Quail Water Management. Prior to joining Fountain Quail, Broderick’s career spanned 29 years with Schlumberger, an oilfield services company.
Independent Petroleum Association of America: The trade group has named Ultra Petroleum CEO Mike Watford as its chairman for a two-year term starting this month. President of Merlin Oil & Gas Mark Miller has been appointed as vice chairman.
Environmental Waste International: The company that specializes in eco-friendly systems for the breakdown of organic materials has appointed Bob MacBean as chief financial officer. MacBean was most recently senior vice president and CFO of Energy Advantage and CFO of Selient.
WSP Environmental: The engineering design and environmental consultancy has appointed Tord Dennis as practice leader product and supply chain. Previously, Dennis worked as a product manager at Siemens PLM Software.
Lehigh Technologies: The sustainable materials company has announced that Jim MacMaster, former executive vice president and chief operating officer at Yokohama Tire, North America, has joined the company’s board of directors. Lehigh also appointed Adel Halasa, Ph.D., a polymer scientist formerly with Goodyear Tire & Rubber, to its advisory board.
Rainwater Resources: The rainwater harvesting specialist’s president and CEO Denis Rochat has been elected to the nine member board of directors of the American Rainwater Catchment Systems Association. Meanwhile, Charles Montgomery has been named territory manager for Rainwater Resources and its affiliated water treatment service, PerfectWater. Montgomery is a longtime sales professional in the Knoxville Metro area having previously been National Sales Manager at Scripps Networks Interactive.
