Environmental Executive Moves: Metroflor, Cox, Locus Technologies, SolarCraft, Ethical Electric, Cardno
Hereâ€™s the latest news on hirings, promotions and departures among environmental leaders.
Metroflor: Vinyl tile flooring manufacturer has appointed Rochelle Routman (pictured) as the first chief sustainability officer for Metroflor and Halstead International. Prior to joining Metroflor/Halstead, Routman served as Mohawk Industries director of sustainability.
Cox Enterprises: The communications, media and automotive services company has expanded sustainability roles for Huiet Joseph and Evelyn Bolden. Joseph, who joined Cox in 2006, is being promoted to director of energy conservation. Bolden, who has been with the company since 2000, is assuming the newly created position of director of corporate partner sustainability.
Locus Technologies: The environmental compliance and information management software firm has promoted longtime employee J. Wesley Hawthorne to the position of president. Current president and CEO Neno Duplan will remain CEO.
SolarCraft: The solar electricand solar pool heating system installer has appointed Avner Daabul president and CEO. He previously served as director of operations at SolarCraft.
Ethical Electric: The renewable energy company has hired John Burke as chief financial officer. Burke previously served as senior vice president of operations at Constellation New Energy.
Cardno: The infrastructure and environmental services firm has appointed Todd K. Wager as chief operating officer.
CustomerFirst Renewables: The advisory services firm, which helps large businesses procure renewable energy, has named Niels Crone senior vice president business development. Crone most recently served as founder and executive director of Conservation International Consulting, In addition, Susanne Fratzscher joined CFR as director business development. Fratzscher was formerly senior advisor renewable energy for the World Wildlife Fund.
Michigan Department of Environmental Quality: Gov. Rick Snyder has appointed Heidi Grether, a former executive for BP America, to run the stateâ€™s DEQ.
Camfil Air Pollution Control: The air filtration company has promoted John Poehler to director of reseller/rep sales. Poehler joined Camfil APC in 2013. The company has also named Matt Caulfield, an 8-year veteran of Camfil APC, director of mining/pharma.
