When it comes to EHS software, suppliers are increasingly moving to cloud-based program management software, according to a new report from Verdantix. “Workplace health and safety is shifting more and more to a digital enterprise approach, bringing data management and analysis to the forefront so businesses can use active data to predict and prevent incidents before they happen,” according to the report. Additionally, the market is continuing to morph as acquisitions and private equity investments reshape competitive dynamics, Verdantix says.

In fact, the vendors best able to meet customer demand for integrated EHS platforms, usability and mobile have changed significantly in the last 18 months. EtQ, SAI Global, UL EHS Sustainability and VelocityEHS are new entrants into the leaders’ quadrant. Enablon has the highest score for EHS software product capabilities followed by Cority in second place and Intelex in third.

These 20 providers include: Airsweb, Cority (formerly Medgate), Dakota Software, DNV GL, EcoIntense, EMEX, Enablon, Enviance, ERA Environmental, EtQ, Gensuite, Intelex, IsoMetrix, Mitratech, ProcessMAP, SAI Global, SAP, Sphera, UL EHS Sustainability and VelocityEHS.

The Green Quadrant report is the only independent benchmark of EHS software available on the market, Verdantix says. The study findings are based on a 251 point questionnaire, live product demonstrations and buying preference data from interviews with 316 EHS managers in 18 countries around the world.
