The program called Catalyze was launched in July and asks semiconductor industry suppliers to collaborate and transition to renewable sources of energy across their value chain and ecosystem.
The E4S Alliance aims to create an adaptive smart electricity grid, and the new platform aims to modernize the energy grid by shifting it from a proprietary, closed-hardware architecture to an open, flexible, software-defined energy system.
The program will start in specific markets with a focus on suppliers, with the intention of expanding globally where energy markets and interest aligns in the future.
