When Toyota moves into its new $1 billion North American headquarters next year, the automaker will shrink its carbon footprint thanks to a 7.7-megawatt solar array. Upon completion, Toyota’s Plano solar photovoltaic system will provide a quarter of the power needed for the new campus and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 7,122 metric tons.
