Amelot Alternative Energy has met with Scott Pollack, the Director of the street department for the City of Nashua to discuss the use of Amelot’s Bio-Diesel product.Ã‚Â The City of Nashua, according to Amelot,Ã‚Â uses over 200,000 gallons of B20 diesel fuel per year in their city vehicles.
Amelot also announced that it has also met with Steve Russell, the public works fleet services superintendent for the City of Keene. Keene has been using Bio-Diesel in its fleet of vehicles for the last 5 years. They currently are purchasing their Bio-Diesel outside the state of N.H. and are interested in purchasing their fuel, about 55,000 gallons a year, in-state.
“We are continuing to contact state and city divisions to discuss providing them with Amelot’s Bio-Diesel product. Recent discussions have gone very well. We anticipate moving into purchase agreements with several interested parties soon,” said Aziz Hirji, President of Amelot Holdings.
Last month, Amelot signed a lease agreement for its first biodiesel production facility, an 80,000 sq. ft. building located in Nashua,Ã‚Â which will have the capacity to produce ten million gallons per year.Ã‚Â
