SolCool Ships Hybrid Solar Air Conditioning Units to the Philippines

Quezon City, Philippines has been shipped the first improved hybrid air conditioning units from SolCool.

The patented SolCool Air Conditioning System has a standard solar electricity, DC ceiling fan and DC lighting option connections, emergency DC back-up cooling system and NXFASE ice battery, according to a company press release (via Renewable Energy Access).

“This is a milestone in the SolCool progression. The LLC is poised to fulfill an immense need for low power, high impact cooling south of the Tropic of Cancer”, stated Cliff Sutton, VP Global Sales and Marketing for SolCool One, LLC. “This SolCool factory version comes equipped for our highly effective 90 percent return installation configuration which does well in hot, humid environments that experience routine grid interruptions.”
