Corporate Knights Lists 100 Most Sustainable Companies

global100-2.jpgCorporate Knights Inc. and Innovest Strategic Value Advisors announced its fourth annual list of the 100 most sustainable corporations in the world at the World Economic Forum in Davos. The G100 includes companies from 17 countries encompassing all sectors. They were evaluated according to how effectively they managed environmental, social and governance risks and opportunities relative to their industry peers.

The UK led the way with 24 companies while the US had 16, down three from last year. Japan held steady with 13 while Finland, Sweden and Australia moved up with five countries each. More than two-thirds of the companies were on the list last year.
