Leaving Computers On Over Holiday Weekend Costs Big Bucks

keyboard.jpgU.S. companies could have saved up to $46 million over the three-day Independence Day weekend, according to a report produced by 1E and the Alliance to Save Energy.

The report says if the 104 million workers who use PCs at work left them on for the long weekend, they would have contributed 474 million pounds of CO2 to the atmosphere.
