At ESPN’s headquarters in Bristol, the company has converted the cafeteria to using reusable and compostable dishes and utensils, the Bristol Press reports. The move is part of a larger trend being seen in corporate cafeterias.

Employees, who complained about the lack of sustainability, can now compost their food waste, paper products and even their forks and spoons.

Although compostable dinnerware costs 50 to 100 percent more than foam and plastic ones, the company has not raised the prices in the cafeteria.

ESPN has also offered all employees a free refillable water bottle to encourage conservation.

The company recycled 1.45 million pounds of paper last year.

Law firm Stoel Rives is making its cafeterias more environmentally friendly by encouraging use of glass and silverware provided by the firm.
