Reuters reported that Nike’s sustainable offerings represented 15 percent of Nike’s total Spring 2009 offering.

Nike introduced the Considered Air Jordan XX3, as well as a complete line of apparel for athletes in Beijing that was made from 100 percent recycled polyester.

In February, the company released the Nike Trash Talk, a basketball shoe made from manufacturing waste.
