The American Home Furnishings Alliance announced that seven more of its members have implemented the organization’s Enhancing Furniture’s Environmental Culture program with the goal of reaching environmental improvements at domestic manufacturing facilities, Home Furnishings Business reports.
The seven members are: C.R. Laine; Hickory Chair; Lea Ins.; American Drew; Kincaid’s Hudson and Taylorsville plants; and Vaughan-Bassett.
Companies need to analyze and understand the environmental impact of its processes, raw materials and finished products on a facility-by-facility basis to become EFEC-registered.
