Aussie ‘Pixel’ Building Concept Illustrates Carbon Neutrality

With work scheduled to begin this year, the so-called Pixel Building in Australia aims to be carbon neutral in its operations and construction.

The office building would use a combination of wind and solar to generate electricity. It also would allow workers to individually manipulate temperature and airflow in their work stations.

The building, which is to be built on a former brewery site, features grass on the roof to help filter grey water. It is being designed by Grocon. Learn more here.
