IBM, Intel, HSBC, Unilever, Xerox Top Covalence Ethical Rankings

covalenceIBM garnered the top spot in Covalence’s ethical ranking of multinational companies. The ranking looks at 541 companies across 18 sectors.

This year, Covalence added two sectors. American Express topped the financial services sector, while Clear Channel Communications led the media sector, according to a press release.

The rankings look at companies’ eco-innovative products and social sponsorships, as well as employment and working conditions, among other factors.

The top 10 companies across all sectors were:

  1. IBM
  2. Intel Corp
  3. HSBC Holdings
  4. Unilever
  5. Xerox
  6. Cisco Systems
  7. Marks & Spencer
  8. General Electric
  9. Procter & Gamble
  10. Alcoa Inc
