  1. Yes, cap and trade will raise money for environmental causes. But this
    money should only go to projects that will definitely work. One big
    project that no one seems to question is CO2 sequestration, where
    thousands, or possibly millions of tons of CO2 is injected deep into the earth. This will have the effect of permanently removing a lot
    of OXYGEN from the atmosphere. I believe this is a foolish experiment,
    that may cause more harm to the environment, and is also a big waste
    of money. It is not the only method being studied, yet hundreds of
    companies are already committed to experiments like this on a large
    scale. Someone needs to think about the long term effects that removing
    large quantities of OXYGEN from the atmosphere will have. And although
    nuclear energy may sound like a cleaner way to go, in fact a study has
    been done which shows that the cost of storing nuclear waste will one
    day exceed the value of the electricity it produces. I have confidence
    that if we wait, scientists or others will find all the answers they
    seek to having an environmentally healthy, renewable energy, sustainable
