University of Florida Football Complex Uses 25% Less Energy Than Similar Buildings

Architect Al Oberlander with RDG Planning & Design talks about the sustainable aspects of the University of Florida’s new Heavener Football Complex.

The building was the first athletic facility in the nation to be certified LEED platinum.

It uses 25 percent less energy than other buildings of its size, Oberlanders says. The building uses renewable energy and has a green roof.
