  1. Interesting conversation. As the concerns about the environment are growing, consumers require more information about the products they purchase. Relying on buying habits is not a strategy. I believe that companies that proactively provide the information, through advertising, labels, sustainability reports etc will do better in the long run that others. Transparency is the right way to go.

  2. Amazing to see this almost Monty Pythonesque video. Finally, now in 2011, the proper gentlemen in shiny suits who are our supposed “thought leaders” are talking about what folks like Jelly Helm and Mark Barden, and other true thought leaders, were talking about in 2002–almost ten years ago. I suppose it is finally becoming lucrative enough.

  3. Marty – I know, it is Pythonesque. In some form of defence, some of us were frogmarched into that room, and told to put on a tie before speaking. But I agree, pretty poor/farcical at best. Guy
