In the six years since I launched Environmental Leader, I’ve been amazed and awed by the innovation I’m seeing in the products and services offered by companies in the space. From software that helps measure and manage power consumption to green packaging solutions to products that improve energy management to technologies that better carbon efficiency or reduce waste, companies continue to make impressive strides in helping companies improve energy, environmental and sustainability management.

I have wanted to find a way to give companies the recognition they deserve for their continual innovations in this space, which is why we launched the Environmental Leader Technology Reviews program. This is your opportunity to submit products for feedback and recognition — from judges from companies like GlaxoSmithKline, Legrand, Owens-Corning, and PepsiCo — and to have your products promoted and celebrated nationally to your peers and customers.

The Environmental Leader Technology Reviews program is a five-star rating system for products that are new or have been updated in 2012, and recognizes excellence in products and services that provide companies with energy and environmental benefits.

Scores will be determined by a panel of experts from leading companies including GlaxoSmithKline, The Green Grid, Hewlett-Packard, Legrand, LNS Research, New Belgium Brewing, Owens-Corning, PepsiCo, Petco, Staples, University of California, Berkeley, and Yahoo.

Products with high scores will receive national recognition by being prominently featured on Environmental Leader in a Technology Reviews “Hall of Fame.”

You’ll also have the opportunity to use the EL Technology Reviews badge, featuring your score, which provides recognition to purchasers and can be displayed on product packaging, websites, trade show displays, and other marketing materials.

We’d love to see you get the recognition you deserve. Deadline for submissions is December 14, 2012; Early Bird deadline (with reduced entry fee) is November 21. Submission information and forms can be found here.

Take a moment now to check out the EL Technology Reviews webpage, and if you have any questions, email [email protected].

I look forward to seeing you get the recognition you deserve.

Sincerely,
Paul Nastu
