VWS MPP Systems, subsidiary of Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies, has been awarded a contract by shipbuilder Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME) to supply a Macro Porous Polymer Extraction water purification (MPPE) unit for the Ichthys LNG project’s floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) unit. The Ichthys LNG project is expected to produce 8.4 million tons of liquid natural gas and 1.6 million tons of LPG per annum, along with approximately 100,000 barrels of condensate per day at peak.
