Billion Electric partnered with BC System Integrator in South Africa to launch an energy management product for commercial and industrial users. The cloud-based smart energy management system can automatically manage electricity usage from businesses, including commercial hotels, office buildings, factories, schools and multi dwelling units.

The package for complex buildings includes smart meters, smart controllers and a centralized cloud platform. The smart controller can control many smart meters simultaneously and retrieve electricity usage data and other data from smart meters. All the information is sent to the cloud system for monitoring and analysis. Users can also remotely control the connected electrical appliances via the energy management system.
