Phil Pergola has joined EnerNOC as vice president of Professional Services, reporting to SVP of Marketing and Sales, Gregg Dixon. In this new role, Pergola will be responsible for driving adoption of EnerNOC’s software. Pergola brings nearly 20 years of software industry experience to EnerNOC, including six years as a professional services leader at BMC Software, where he most recently served as area vice president.
Two of the Department of Energy’s National Laboratories welcomed new directors: Peter Littlewood to Argonne National Laboratory and Bill Goldstein (pictured) to Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Littlewood is a professor of physics at the University of Chicago and has been the associate laboratory director for Argonne. Prior to being named director, Goldstein served as the deputy director for science and technology at Lawrence Livermore.
Greensmith, a provider of energy storage systems, hired Jeff Damron as vice president of sales and marketing. Damron brings more than 15 years of experience in a variety of sales and marketing roles most recently with Demand Energy Networks.
Kathryn Jackson, chairwoman of ISO New England, will resign on April 25 to join the board of Portland General Electric. Jackson joined the ISO New England Board in 2008. Current ISO New England board member Philip Shapiro will take over as chairman on April 25. Shapiro joined the board in 2010. In his full-time job, he is the chief financial officer of Babson College in Wellesley, Mass.
PECI, a nonprofit corporation that designs and implements energy efficiency programs for utilities, has added Pamela Morgan to its board of directors. Morgan is the principal consultant at Graceful Systems, a company she founded in 2009 to help utilities alleviate divisiveness and disorganization and embrace innovation. Previously, she spent more than 20 years with Portland General Electric, where her most recent position was vice president of Strategic Planning and Regulatory.
The Green Grid Association, which focuses on data center and information technology resource efficiency, is looking to increase the number of seats on its board of directors. Current board-level member companies within The Green Grid include Cisco Systems, Dell, EMC, Emerson Network Power, Google, Hewlett-Packard, IBM, Intel and Schneider Electric.
McKinstry hired Mike Sill as engineering and commissioning manager of its Spokane office. Sill brings over 15 years of mechanical engineering and project management experience. At McKinstry, Sill will be responsible for the management and delivery of engineering services, quality control and enhancing the project delivery process.
