Environmental Executive Moves: Ford, SCS Engineers, MFG Chemical, Nuverra

kpittel2Here’s the latest news on hirings, promotions and departures among environmental leaders.

Ford: The US automaker has appointed Kim Pittel vice president (pictured), sustainability, environment amd safety engineering. Pittel currently serves as executive director, global supplier technical assistance, and will be succeeding Robert Brown, who is retiring from Ford after 35 years.

SCS Engineers: The environmental consulting firm has promoted Nathan Eady to vice president. Eady previously worked for the county of Santa Barbara as a senior land use planner and as an associate urban planner for the city of San Diego.

MFG Chemical: The chemical manufacturer has named Barry Lassiter as director of environmental, health, safety and security. Lassiter previously served as site safety, health and security manager for Invista’s Chattanooga, Tennessee, facility.

Nuverra Environmental Solutions: The provider of full-cycle waste disposal services for the energy and industrial end-markets has announced that Jay C. Parkinson is leaving the company, and it has named Christopher Chisholm, Nuverra’s current executive vice president and chief accounting officer, as interim chief financial officer.

SiteHawk: The provider of MSDS and chemical data management software services has appointed Ernie Connon chief executive officer. Connon previously served as worldwide vice president of industry solutions within IBM’s Software Group.

ASTM International: The international standards organization has named Katharine E. Morgan to succeed retiring ASTM president James A. Thomas. Morgan previously served as vice president of technical committee operations for ASTM.

Earth Alive Clean Technologies: The developer and manufacturer of microbial technology-based products has nominated Michel Ringuet to serve on its board of directors. Ringuet has served as chief executive officer of Master Group since 2006.

Questar: The integrated national gas company has announced that James R. Livsey, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Questar subsidiary Wexpro Company, has elected to retire after 30 years with the company.

The Reputation Institute: The reputation research-based consulting and advisory firm has named Jamie Bedard as its global president and chief executive officer. Bedard previously led organizations such as Aberdeen Group and Benchmarking Partners before joining the company’s leadership team earlier this year.
