Diageo: The alcoholic beverages giant has appointed David Croft to the role of global sustainable development director. He will assume the role on Feb.1, 2015. Croft is currently the director of quality and technical at the UK retailer Waitrose.
Natural Systems Utilities: The distributed water infrastructure company has appointed Robert D. Dixon as its chief executive officer and board director. Dixon most recently served as CEO of Seven Seas Water.
Kurion: The nuclear and hazardous waste management firm has promoted David Brockman to executive vice president of North American operations. Brockman joined Kurion as deputy chief operating officer in 2013.
Camfil Air Pollution Control: The manufacturer of dust, fume and mist collection equipment has promoted Thomas (Tomm) Frungillo to the position of vice president, Camfil APC Americas. Frungillo joined the company in 2000.
TerraTherm: The provider of environmental thermal remediation services and technologies has hired Brian Duffy as corporate safety and compliance manager. Duffy has worked at other leading companies in the industry including Raytheon, Tighe & Bond, and URS.
TÜV Rheinland: The inspection, testing and certification company has appointed Robert Djurovic (pictured) as managing director for US systems. Prior to joining TÜV Rheinland, Djurovic served as director of international automotive solutions at SGS North America.
Green Building Initiative: The board of directors of the nonprofit, which oversees the Green Globes green building certification program, has elected Alliance for Water Efficiency CEO and president Mary Ann Dickinson as a Director of the GBI.
Forum for the Future: The sustainability nonprofit has named Esther Maughan McLachlan director of communications and networks. She is the author of “The Future of Brands” (Macmillan Business, 1999), the first book to explore the power of brand-led CSR.
Alston & Bird: The law firm has hired national environmental and land use litigators Paul J. Beard and Damien M. Schiff. Beard chairs Pacific Legal Foundation’s Coastal Land Rights Project. Schiff focuses on cases pertaining to the Clean Water Act and Endangered Species Act.
