McKinstry promoted two of its Texas leaders. Michael Flores shifts from regional director for the South Region to vice president of the Southern US, with Michael Grabham filling the regional director role for the South Region. Both Flores and Grabham were part of the team that brought McKinstry to the Texas market in 2009. Since that time, McKinstry has opened offices in Dallas, Houston, San Antonio and Corpus Christi.
Deron Miller, who recently served as MicroStrategy’s senior vice president of Americas Sales, has joined Enlighted as executive vice president, North American Sales. Mark Golan has joined Enlighted as the first president of products and applications, coming from Adura Technologies.
Renewable energy expert Deyang Qu (pictured) has been named as the Johnson Controls Endowed Professor in Energy Storage Research, a collaborative appointment between the company, the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and the Wisconsin Energy Institute (WEI) in the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s College of Engineering. He begins his new duties in Milwaukee January 15.

Greenwood Energy, the North and Latin American clean energy division of the Libra Group, announced Vincenzo Fagiuoli has joined the company as a senior advisor. Fagiuoli is the founder and director of Entoria Group, which develops, implements, and finances renewable energy projects throughout the world.
James Dixon, vice president for legal and compliance services for ConEdison Development and ConEdison Energy, has been elected chair of the Energy Committee of the Association of Corporate Counsel, a global bar association representing more than 35,000 in-house lawyers in 90 countries.
Ellen Williams was confirmed by the United States Senate as the director of the Department of Energy’s Advanced Research Projects Agency – Energy (ARPA-E). Williams will oversee a program that funds high-potential, high-impact energy technologies that are too early for private-sector investment. Previously, Williams was the chief scientist for BP.
Camfil Air Pollution Control promoted Thomas Frungillo to vice president, Camfil APC Americas. Frungillo joined the company in 2000. He will assume full responsibility for the Jonesboro manufacturing facility as well as sales operations in North and South America for all Camfil APC products.
