Aquarius Technologies: The wastewater treatment provider has appointed Deborah K. LaVelle (pictured) president and CEO. She succeeds former president and CEO Tom Pokorsky, who stepped down to pursue other interests. LaVelle has over three decades of experience in the water and wastewater industry.

Cambrian Innovation: The biotech firm has hired Baji Gobburi as vice president of sales. Gobburi comes to Cambrian from Energy Recovery Inc. (ERI), where he served as director of business and product development.

Tomi Environmental Solutions: The decontamination and infectious disease control company has appointed Scott Stamper director of the newly formed TomiService Network of restoration industry specialists. Stamper is the president of the Restoration Industry Association.

US Water Alliance: The water sustainability nonprofit has named G. Tracy Mehan III interim president. Mehan acted as principal with the Cadmus Group, an environmental consulting firm, from 2004 to 2014.

Sustainable Electronics Recycling International: The organization that oversees the R2 electronics recycling standard has named Corey Dehmey R2 technical director. Dehmey has worked for a large R2 certified recycler and participated on the R2 Technical Advisory Committee.

Hancock Natural Resource Group: The group, which manages timberland, agricultural and renewable energy investments on behalf of institutional investors, has named Bill Peressini president. Peressini is HNRG’s chief financial officer, a post he will also remain in until Sept. 30.

Ecotech Institute: The first and only school in the US solely focused on renewable energy and sustainability has named Donald Smith program director of both Electrical Engineering Technology and Power Utility Technician programs.
