Biowaste recycling company Andigestion has installed a £2.3 million ($3.4 million) biomethane cleaning plant as it continues to develop its 34,000 metric tons per annum anaerobic digestion facility in Gloucestershire, UK, Waste Management World reports.

The plant will allow Andigestion to export 3 million m3/year of renewable natural gas to the electric grid.

A DVO anaerobic digester at Calgren Renewable Fuels in Pixley, Calif., is expected to reduce the environmental impact from farm waste greenhouse gas emissions by more than 90 percent, says Steve Dvorak, owner and founder of DVO.
