Here’s the latest news on hirings, promotions and departures among environmental leaders.
Land O’Lakes: The agribusiness and food company has hired Jason Weller, former chief of USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service, as a senior director of sustainability.
BioAmber: The renewable materials company’s Jean-Francois Huc has resigned as president and CEO. Fabrice Orecchioni (pictured), the company’s COO, has been named president, effective immediately. Huc, who stepped down for personal reasons, will remain a member of the board of directors and will also assume an advisory role with the management team.
Arcadis: The design and consultancy firm has appointed Alex Rothchild as the company’s president of its environmental sector in North America. Rothchild joined Arcadis more than 20 years ago.
RELiON Battery: The battery company has hired industry veteran David Chambers as vice president of global sales. Most recently Chambers worked as director of international sales with Trojan Battery Company.
Genoil: The clean technology engineering company for the petroleum industry has hired Raushan Telyashev as vice president of Genoil Middle East. Prior to joining Genoil, Telyashev worked at Lukoil where he was deputy head of the department of construction.
Bacharach: The manufacturer of refrigerant gas monitoring and leak detection instrumentation and combustion and emissions analyzers has hired Karl Roberts as regional sales manager, covering the UK, Ireland, and Northern Europe. Most recently, Roberts was territory sales manager with Tyco Gas & Flame Detection.
Aquatic Informatics: The water management software company has hired Tim Finegan as its director of marketing. Finegan most recently worked at Xylem where he was vertical market director for the surface water market.
Morrison & Foerster: The global law firm has hired Ali A. Zaidi as a senior advisor. Zaidi served the Obama administration as the White House Office of Management and Budget (OMB) associate director for natural resources, energy, and science.
