Retrolux, a Boise-based lighting and controls sales platform company, has partnered with Lighting For ESCOs (LFE) Solutions to provide professional services to energy service companies and lighting retrofit companies.

The services, provided through LFE Solutions, include lighting audits, data logging service, lighting design, installation labor network, the commissioning of wireless lighting, rebate identification and fulfillment, and Retrolux software licensing.

LFE Solutions started in January 2013 to offer technical lighting and controls solutions to the ESCO market, serving both local and national ESCOs. The company describes itself as a bridge between manufacturers who do not have a direct channel to the ESCO, and the ESCO inundated with new products, including LEDs.

Retrolux has lighting retrofit software designed to help lighting contractors, ESCOs, and VARs grow their business by saving time, money, and to close deals at a faster rate. The company says that its software’s audit, proposal, ordering, commissioning, and rebate functions prepare that commercial lighting companies for modern challenges.

“Our cloud-based software solution is built to work simply and effectively while dealing with the specific issues faced within the lighting and control industry,” according to Retrolux. That covers lead generation, energy and cost analysis, and project delivery. The software is designed to make auditing, solution selection, proposal generation, utility rebates, and project implementation easier, “saving time and money by up to 50%.”

Robert Quintal, president at LFE Solutions called Retrolux and LFE Solutions natural partners. “Both are devoted to serving the ESCOs, contractors, and VARs,” he said. “We are excited to offer Retrolux software and audit services to our ESCO customers. This has been the missing piece that our customers have been seeking.”
