Power Distribution, Inc., a supplier of power distribution and monitoring solutions for data centers, today announced the market availability of its WaveStar Infinity Monitoring System. According to the company, the new offering provides advanced power distribution equipment monitoring and metering for accurate data center business decisions based on real-time energy management information.
The new system provides end-to-end power reliability by combining real-time data collection, advanced visualization, and detailed alarming with revenue-grade metering accuracy that meets or exceeds the requirements for a wide range of targeted applications, including fault detection, power quality analysis and colocation tenant billing.

The WaveStar Infinity is compatible with PDI’s PowerPak Remote Power Panel (RPP), Modular Compact Remote Power Panel (MCRPP) and both PowerPak2 and PowerHub 2 Power Distribution Unit (PDU) to provide metering and monitoring of key electrical and equipment performance measurements including:
